Northpoint Recovery saved my life. This facility is like none I’ve ever seen before. The nursing staff, techs, and counselors are amazing!!! I felt like my voice was heard and they listened to all my concerns. The low number of patients was perfect so I had plenty of one on one and felt like a person unlike just another patient walking through the doors. I was blown away by everything that we did from gym, yoga, art, educational and process groups. If you or a loved one is suffering from addiction I would HIGHLY recommend Northpoint. Northpoint Recovery should win an award for best rehab center on Earth. The staff are incredible and genuinely care about their patients every day. They share their own stories of recovery and inspire us all to want what they have; sobriety. The days are perfectly structured with “classes” on our diseases, “processing” things we’re battling, exercise, yoga, tai chi, 3 square meals cooked to perfection and amenities that are appropriate to our recovery. Their program is mind blowingly awesome and really works! I’ve seen many of my peers “graduate” from this facility and they can honestly say they are still sober. We owe our lives to this place.

Northpoint Recovery is an absolutely amazing center. All of the staff are genuine and attentive. They gave me everything I needed to feel comfortable and went out of their way to help every patient who was there. Northpoint saved my life. Good food, good people. No matter where you are, I would make the trip. They teach you how to live your life sober. It’s not just a detox and boot. You go to yoga, tai chi, workout at the gym, activity class, and either an a/a or n/a every night with visitations on Sunday. Life is good at Northpoint and after! Love you all.

If you want to change your life, I definitely recommend going to Northpoint. I never thought treatment would work or that it was for me, I was a huge skeptic. But the program works! The staff is great, facility is clean, and I couldn’t imagine getting clean and sober anywhere else!

Northpoint Recovery has made my life whole again. I owe my recovery first and foremost to myself, but I could not have done it without the great people at NPR. I’ve wanted myself back for such a long time and was helpless to do so, or at least I thought I was. The staff at NPR genuinely CARE about your well being. After my 28 days, they did not give me my belongings and show me the front door. They assisted me in an aftercare plan to help me continue my recovery. Amazing! I can live my life again. The treatment I received, the knowledge I gained & the self respect I got back is more than I could’ve hoped for. The accommodations were clean & comfortable. The food was excellent. I could relax & focus on my recovery, and above all else, the staff was PHENOMENAL! Every person there made me feel welcome & comfortable from the moment I showed up in the parking lot. They were genuine…caring….respectful & trustworthy. I didn’t feel like I was being judged or looked down upon. I recommend Northpoint Recovery to anyone who is struggling with an addiction. The best shot I’ve had to this day started at Northpoint. I was exhausted; my body was shutting down (again); life seemed hopeless. I couldn’t stop using poison to change how I felt. Northpoint is a very special place. I don’t know how to completely articulate the emotions I feel as I type this review. The staff and counselors are compassionate people who showed me love when I had just about given up. Those same people told me things that I didn’t want to hear, but needed to hear and seriously consider. Learning to take suggestions and being teachable are things I began to grasp at Northpoint and still practice today. By the time I discharged, I had hope again and a plan to stay clean one day at a time. If you or someone you love is willing to receive help, please at the least, speak with someone at Northpoint. It isn’t a lock-down facility like other places in the valley. You get to try out different meetings in the valley and go to parks and even do yoga. The food is brought in from a catering company and, most of the time, it’s really good (I’m not a fan of quinoa). Many of the staff members are in recovery themselves and understand this disease firsthand. Give yourself a break and call for info and insurance questions. Today there is hope.

Northpoint Recovery is the place to be for detox and rehab in Boise! From your first phone call with the admissions department, you are welcomed with open arms, even if Northpoint isn’t the best fit for you or your loved one’s situation, they work tirelessly to provide you with options that are. The beautiful and renovated facility is always extremely clean and provides a homey environment for those recovering. Their catered meals are full of nutrition but do not lack in taste or quantity for the recovering body. Northpoint’s treatment method is phenomenal and has proven effective in sobriety after discharge. The staff is by far the best thing about Northpoint. Each of the nurses, techs, administrators, and counselors have direct or indirect experience with drug/alcohol addiction which gives them keen insight into what the patients and their families are going through and what they will face in their days after discharge. If you are looking for a safe and positive environment to get your life back on track, look no further than Northpoint Recovery!

The best part of the experience was the incredibly professional staff. They do not show up for work just to “do their job”. After 7 inpatient recovery centers. Finally, one was assembled for the patients, true recovery needs. I could tell that all staff (Admissions, Techs, Counselors, Nurses, Doctors, Food, Janitorial, etc). had been handpicked to form the best treatment center in Idaho. Possibly the best on the West Coast. From great counseling and medical, to wonderful techs and healthy nutritious meals, they have all the bases covered. When I arrived, I felt hopeless and sick. After completing Northpoint and continuing treatment at Ashwood, I feel like a fine-tuned machine, enjoying life, and well prepared to be a productive member of society. Thanks, Northpoint.
